PSS & iCone sign a purchase agreement to deploy the ConnectedTech™ smart devices

Cleveland— 11/16/20 — Today, PSS & iCone signed a purchase agreement to deploy the ConnectedTech™ smart device products to deliver real-time geo-location for short duration work zones. PSS will integrate the ConnectedTech™ line of products into their RoadQuake Temporary Portable Rumble Strips (TPRS) handling equipment.

Successful field tests with the PSS RAPTOR™ (Rumble Strip Handling Machine) can now provide data locations without having a worker in the roadway. Building on this success, PSS is now working to integrate the ConnectedTech™ system into the CRIB RoadQuake carrier.

Transportation agencies will soon have a new tool to gather work zone activity data on short duration work zones in real-time. Road users will also be aware of the short-duration work zones and will be able to make more informed traveling decisions.
