Cato, NY --- iCone Products LLC announces today that their continued partnership with Skip-Line LLC (Skip-Line), a premier manufacturer and data platform providing pavement marking controls, has expanded internationally to continue providing awareness of real-time roadmarking operations by digitally connecting this information to navigation systems.

Last year, within the United States, iCone and Skip-Line successfully demonstrated that the integration of road striping activity from Skip-Line’s Pigeon, HDVO, and DL-18 combined with iCone’s Internet of RoadWork (IoRTM) platform, can provide advanced safety and protection by delivering real-time notifications to approaching drivers through navigation systems, providing more time for motorists to safely avoid collision with crews and equipment.

Following Skip-Line’s merger with Novo Innovation, the newly formed Skip-Line ANZ is expanding its connectivity to the Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) region with roadway technologies that includes its VX10 hardware system, and the cloud-based roadmarking data management Spec-Rite Online (SRO) platform.

With Skip-Line’s presence in the ANZ market, it was only natural to enhance iCone’s IoRTM with data from Skip-Line ANZ’s connected devices through iCone’s ConnectedTech™ Data Community - a cloud-based platform that collects and transmits real-time information to enhance roadway safety.  Skip-Line and iCone Products have a similar vision for deliberately growing these innovations of smarter and safer pavement markings to their international market base.

Brian Kausler, President of Skip-Line said, “We are excited to be part of the road safety strategies that are prominent in the ANZ region.  Their initiatives of Road -To-Zero and Towards-Zero are definitely aligned with the missions of both Skip-Line and iCone Products”.

Both companies are collaborating to enhance driver/operator methodologies, create safer roadways, smarter logistics, and more intelligent navigation.  As such, right now, these new data streams from Skip-Line allow iCone to provide additional work zone activity directly to motorists in Australia and New Zealand in real-time through their Waze and Google Maps platforms.

About Skip-Line:

Skip-Line is the leading manufacturer of electronic controls for long-line (large) road-marking vehicles in North America. With Skip-Line hardware and Spec-Rite data management, the two companies have come together to make a single vision possible – to make pavement markings smarter and safer. Spec-Rite Online is the backbone of a new data technology platform that will connect the world.

About iCone Products:

iCone Products, LLC is guiding the future of Work Zone Safety! As the creator of the IoR - Internet of RoadworkTM, iCone has developed a suite of ConnectedTech products that collects and transmits real-time information about the status of the roadways into the cloud. Navigation applications, traffic control centers, and contractors receive the information to assist motorists in navigation, protect crews in work zones, and create an overall safer environment on public roadways around the world. As an integrated technology platform, iCone’s devices can mark virtually anything that may intrude upon a public right-of-way that would cause a vehicle to change either its speed or direction of travel.

iCone’s ConnectedTech Data Community is designed to provide a unique and broad digital collection of surface roadway operators that collectively contribute information along with iCone Internet of Roadwork (IoR™) - enabled equipment that contribute to a repository of data that provides increased safety through an additional layer of security for both workers and oncoming motorists as well as improving route navigation through direct communication with in-car navigation systems such as Google Maps, Waze and eventually directly displayed in the dash of automobiles.
