MICHIGAN – On the weekends of August 3rd and 10th the Michigan DOT had to close I-94 west bound just east of Ann Arbor for bridge construction. The DOT was concerned about lengthy backups and possible accidents so they implemented an iCone queue warning system to provide active traveler information.
Work zone traffic engineer, Chris Brookes, documented the system with a video drive through while it was active.
